The music has evolved through a process of deconstruction, manipulation and arrangement of raw material that started out as three short pieces of layered drum and piano improvisations. Recorded and produced remotely over the past few months, Falling Abacus combines the spontaneity and energy of a live jazz improvisation with studio production, overdubbing, electronic processing and looping.
